Burn by Chelle Bliss6/3/2023 ![]() ![]() Erin's male voice was way sexier and possessive and alpha. ![]() Lance was only in the epilogue and prologue and I could have lived without his voice. ![]() It is sweet and not raunchy and cheap like the cover suggests. She is essentially alone in this world until Bruno shows up and literally forces himself into her life. So if you are going to read this book, and I DO recommend reading it, please know that this is a story of a woman who finds out she has cancer. I know it's lame to judge a book by it's cover, but the cover literally has nothing to do with the book and doesn't represent it at all. There was way too much focus on it for it to not have caused a complication in the book or for it to have been found out. Although we knew Bruno was not in a legal profession, it was not something that should not have been addressed AT ALL. For the negative there are 2 very big book sins that were committed, in my opinion. ![]() Time passed quickly and I really grew attached to this book. The characters were well developed and I can tell that a lot of cancer research was done with this book. This alternative love story is told so sweetly in its own special way. ![]()
